Many ‘Days of Our Lives’ new viewers may not be aware of who Frankie Brady is. Though his name has been mentioned several times since his last appearance in 2006 they are still not aware of his history. The role was played by Emmy award-winning actor, Billy Warlock on and off from 1986 – 2006. He won the award for his amazing portrayal of the role in 1988 in the category of Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series.
Long time fans would remember Frankie being introduced on the canvas on July 25, 1986 as a homeless teenager along with his brother Max, who Shawn (Frank Parker) and Caroline Brady (Peggy McCay) took in as Steve (Stephen Nichols) became Frankie’s mentor. Not long after, Frankie met the woman of his dreams, Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves). Throughout his time in Salem, Frankie was married to Eve Donovan (then played by Charlotte Ross now played by Kassie DePaiva) and Jennifer, who were rivals for many years as their history involved several romantic conflicts with the same men.
Frankie stayed in Salem from 1986 – 1988 before returning in 1990 to leave again in 1991. He then returned in 2005 and made his last appearance on November 24, 2006 when he left to go work at a Lawyer firm in Washington D.C – will we ever see Frankie back on the canvas?
