‘General Hospital’ star Michael Easton [Dr. Hamilton Finn] dropped on his Facebook page what could be a hint to his ‘Days of Our Lives’ return. Not too long ago, Jamey Giddens of Daytime Confidential hinted that the actor who has played several roles on the ABC daytime sudser could be leaving the show and our good friends over at Soap Cities seem to think Easton could be set to reprise his role as Tanner Scofield on ‘Days’, a role he played from 1991 – 1992.

So, why would we think he’s returning to the show? Number 1 – the new head writer of the show, Ron Carlivati and Easton has worked together several times before. Soap Cities highlighted one major factor, “Ron Carlivati is now Days’ head writer, and he and Easton have worked together on One Life to Live and General Hospital, so the two clearly have a great working relationship. Carlivati is known for bringing on tried and true costars wherever he goes, work-wise“.

Easton also shared a throwback to his time on ‘Days’ on his Facebook page and if he’s indeed returning it would certainly mix things up a bit. Easton is well known for playing the roles of John McBain, Silas Clay and Dr. Finn on ‘GH’ while he is also known for his roles as John McBain on ‘One Life to Live’ and Caleb Morley on ‘Port Charles’. Stay tuned for updates should Easton indeed be returning to the NBC daytime drama but in the meantime watch an old scene with Tanner and his hot flame back in the day, Molly to familiarize yourself with the character.
