An incredible couple
celebrates an incredible and significant milestone today! Days of Our
Lives’ Martha Madison (Belle Black) and her husband are celebrating 11 years of marriage. Madison and her boyfriend at the time, a
restaurateur, A.J Gilbert, the owner of Luna Park in San Francisco, Los
Angeles and New York got engaged on July 29, 2006 when Gilbert took her
to the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego for her birthday. Back then
Madison gushed about her engagement and shared: “He
took the traditional approach and kneeled down on one knee to pop the
all important question….instead of crying right away, I was hit with a
wave of hysterical laughter…(you had to have been there)…it was
just too cute. Tears came later when I realized that I will have the
privilege of spending my life with this man. He truly is my perfect
mate. We are both so happy!!“
The
two later became husband and wife on August 25, 2007 with several of
her ‘Days’ cast mates in attendance including; Drake Hogestyn (John),
Brandon Beemer (Shawn), Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe), Alison Sweeney (Sami),
Deidre Hall (Marlena), Renee Jones (ex-Lexie), Darin Brooks (ex-Max),
Rachel Melvin (ex-Chelsea), Kristian Alfonso (Hope), Farah Fath
(ex-Mimi), Kyle Brandt (Ex-Philip), Bryan Dattilo (Lucas) and Annie
Burgstede (ex-Willow). Congratulations to Martha and A.J on 11 years and
