Days of our Lives Recap February 26, 2024: Message for Mommy Dearest
Wendy experiences a major panic attack, but with Tripp’s help, she manages to regain her composure. Despite this unprecedented incident, they are both unsure about falling asleep. Tripp suggests swapping stories, and Wendy begins by sharing her upbringing. In return, Tripp shares a few stories of his own and reassures Wendy that they will be rescued. Both of them feel grateful to be together in this challenging situation.
Wendy expresses her optimism, believing that they can only rely on themselves to find a way out, comparing their predicament to the resourcefulness of MacGyver. Suddenly, Officer Goldman appears holding a gun and instructs Tripp to record a message for mommy dearest following a specific script.
Days Recap Today: Everett Gets Checked Out
Kayla checks in on Everett with Stephanie by his side, ensuring that he feels supported and understood. Later, Marlena arrives and introduces herself, noting that Kayla asked her to take over his case. Stephanie and Everett explain what happened on their double date and how Jada confronted him later with evidence that he is Bobby. Everett expresses that he doesn’t know how that is possible, feeling like he is losing his mind and having no idea who Robert Stein is. Stephanie also articulates how she initially thought Everett ghosted her, only to discover that he was in an accident and in a coma.
Marlena explains that it is possible for him to remember a part of his life and forget another part, and that sometimes these things happen with PTSD. She asserts that she needs him to sign a release so she can obtain his medical records from Seattle, for both Everett and Robert Stein.

After Marlena leaves, Everett claims to Stephanie that Robert Stein is a stranger to him. He affirms his love for her and promises that he would never hurt her. She acknowledges that it’s a lot to process but suggests they wait and see what the doctors say. He expresses his worry about being alone, and she reassures him that she will be there for him. Later, Everett receives a phone call from the police, who insist that he comes down to the station right away.
Kayla and Marlena meet in the hospital waiting area, both firmly convinced that there is no findings behind the memory loss. Kayla then speculates if Everett could be faking it.
Days Recap Today: Rafe Questions Harris
Rafe stands by Harris, urging him to open his eyes, and he does. Shortly after, Kayla arrives, and Rafe fills her in. She also implores Harris to open his eyes, and he responds. Kayla then quizzes him, trying to confirm his memory is in tact. She asks if he knows who she is and he correctly identifies her as Kayla. As Harris grapples with confusion, Kayla discloses his hospitalization following a gunshot and subsequent coma. Harris later probes Rafe about Clyde, but Rafe redirects the conversation to focus on Harris, revealing that he was shot at the Bistro loading docks.
Days of our Lives Recap February 26, 2024: Stefan Is Nervous
Ava feels a sense of relief as Harris regains consciousness, recognizing it as a positive development. However, Stefan harbors doubts due to Clyde. When Stefan expresses a desire to leave, Ava pleads with him to stay. Rafe intervenes, declaring that nobody is allowed to leave until Harris provides his statement. Ava presses Stefan for an explanation for his restlessness. He claims it’s because of Clyde. Before he can elaborate further, Rafe interrupts, informing them that Harris has no memory whatsoever of who shot him.
