A few current and former daytime stars are set for roles in an upcoming movie titled, “The Neighborhood” originally known as “The Neighborhood Watch”. It is an upcoming thriller which is written and directed by Jake Helgren. Stars such as; Trevor Donovan, Courtney
Grosbeck, Trevor St. John and Ryan Carnes are set to be a part.
Donovan who is known for his role as Jeremy Horton on ‘Days of Our Lives’ (in 2007) will play the lead role of Stephen Lane in this upcoming film. St. John who played Victor Lord Jr/Todd Manning on ‘One Life to Live’ will play the role of James Porter while Grosbeck (Coco, The Bold and the Beautiful) will play Jamie Porter and Ryan Carnes (Lucas Jones, General Hospital) will play Brody.
“The Neighborhood” follows the story of Lindsay Porter (Julie McNiven), a responsible mother and head of the local neighborhood watch program who falls for Stephen (Trevor Donovan), the handsome new bachelor on the block. After certain events, she later begins to fear she and her daughter’s lives may be in grave danger.
Currently, the film is in post-production stages and working with a tentative 2018 release date – stay tuned for updates.
