Actor, Writer and Producer Dorell Anthony is heading into 2023 with a bang!
As fans of Anthony, the soap community was happy to learn that the diverse talent had joined the Days of Our Lives writing team as a scriptwriter. We were so excited and couldn’t wait until his work hit our screens.
As fate would have it, Anthony’s first script would, unfortunately, also be the last on-screen appearance for our beloved John Aniston (Victor Kiriakis), who passed away on November 11, 2022. Anthony’s work debuted on December 26, with further scripts set to air this upcoming January and February. So, stay tuned!
Anthony’s career began on stage acting. Since then, Anthony has appeared on All My Children, Blue Bloods, Asunder the Series (served as producer), and General Hospital. He has also voiced on the serial, audio, and drama podcast Forever and a Day.
Anthony is also creator, producer, and writer of the drama series, Pride: The Series. The series follows four individuals connected by blood, friendship, sex, and love who are dragged into the classic battle between good versus evil. Pride: The Series is available on Amazon Prime Video.
