Former soap scribe, Michael Malone has passed away on August 19 at his home in Clinton, Connecticut. His former colleague Jean Passanante wrote on Facebook, “I want to write about my adored, extraordinary friend Michael Malone who died last night. Right now, though, I’m just trying to adjust to the impossible idea of a world without him. ‘And when he shall die, Take him and cut him out in little stars…’”
Malone won a Daytime Emmy for his work on One Life to Live in 1994. He wrote for One Life to Live from 1986 – 2004 and Another World in 1997.
