General Hospital fans may never get over Sean Blakemore’s absence as Shawn Butler until the day the actor returns. However, Blakemore has been doing some great things since his exit from the ABC daytime drama. While he’s currently playing the role of Eugene Hardwick on BET’s “The Quad” he’s got a new film on the horizon. Blakemore plays the role of Detective Killian in a new film titled “Spinning Man” which is slated for release later this year.
“Spinning Man” is directed by Simon Kaijser and written by Matthew Aldrich and George Harrar. It stars; Odeya Rush, Guy Pearce, Pierce Brosnan and more and focuses on the story of Evan Birch who is a family man and an esteemed professor at a distinguished college. There his charm and reputation have made his philosophy class very popular. When a female student named Joyce goes missing, Evan’s previous off-campus dalliances make his wife question his alibi. Police Detective Malloy has even more reason to be suspicious when crucial evidence makes Evan the prime suspect in Joyce’s disappearance.
