Next week on Days of Our Lives, spoilers reveal that new names can’t hide old secrets forever. Johnny DiMera prepares to turn on his father, Kristen DiMera finally tracks down Sophia Choi, and Stephanie Johnson starts getting suspicious about what’s really happening with Joy Wesley. Here’s what’s coming up on DAYS from October 5-9.

Johnny Is Ready to Turn on EJ

The Days of Our Lives weekly promo for the week of October 5 kicks off over at DiMera, where Sydney gets quite the surprise! She’s working hard at her desk when her boss, Dante Vitali, arrives to acknowledge her non-stop hustle as usual.

Meanwhile, Johnny DiMera is taking major action. He’s preparing to make a confession that could put him at odds with his father, EJ DiMera, forever. Johnny has seen too many people get hurt, and now that Sarah Horton is being wrongfully accused, he refuses to sit by and watch it happen. To that end, Johnny heads straight to the Salem PD to make his case to his aunt, District Attorney Belle Black, and Police Commissioner Jada Hunter.

“I know what my father is capable of better than anyone,” Johnny announces.

Over at University Hospital, Rachel Black is admitted as a patient, leaving her dad beyond worried. Brady Black tries to soothe his daughter, promising that Sarah will take really good care of her. However, Rachel isn’t having it.

“No, I want Mommy!” she cries out.

Kristen Finds Sophia Alive!

Speaking of her mom, Kristen DiMera is finally tracking down Sophia Choi—and she is very much alive! Sporting a fresh red hairdo, Sophia greets her customer at a diner in Paducah: “Hi, welcome to Kay’s Diner, my name’s Amelia.”

Kristen slowly lowers the menu from her face and smirks, “Or should I say, Sophia?”

And then there’s Joy Wesley! Over at the house, Stephanie Johnson hears Kelsey crying and starts to wonder if everything is okay. She knocks on the door to check in, but will Stephanie be the one to finally catch Joy in the act and expose her fake paralysis scheme once and for all?

What do you think will happen when Johnny turns on EJ at the police station? How will Kristen handle finding Sophia alive in Paducah? Drop your theories in the comments!
