Blaze visits Kristina and inquires about her big news. Blaze confesses that she was concerned that something bad happened to Kristina. However, Kristina reassures Blaze that it’s not the case but the news was something she didn’t want to reveal over the phone. Kristina then discloses that she is going to have a baby. She further explains that she chose to become a surrogate for her sister. Blaze admires Kristina’s generosity and selflessness but questions her whether she truly wants to do this. Nevertheless, Kristina believes that she is healthy and has a good chance of success. She trusts her instincts and believes that this is what she is meant to do. Kristina thanks Blaze for being so supportive.

Cody receives a wrapped gift but is not sure who it’s from so he shouts out that the gifter should reveal their identity. He says it is their last chance to reveal themselves or he’ll assume they’re a secret admirer or an enemy intending to give him something he’ll be forced to destroy. He searches and finds Sasha, who tells him that the gift is from her.
Cody unwraps the gift and says, “Oh, wow. Monument Valley“. Sasha is happy that he loves it. Cody admits that he never thought he would be a model and feels bad that he doesn’t have a gift for Sasha. She reminds him that he has already saved her life, and that’s the best gift she could ever ask for. Cody thinks that Sasha feels like she owes him, but he doesn’t want that. He’d rather she like him and not feel rushed to give him something he wants. Later, they almost kiss, but Sasha says she should get going and leaves.

Sonny informs Donna that they have a lot of shopping to do. Donna then asks Sonny if his father used to take him shopping, too, and requests to see a picture of him. Sonny shares the picture with her and she inquires if he misses his father. To which Sonny responds that he misses him every day. Michael appears for their Christmas shopping, but Sonny cannot join them due to an important meeting. Nonetheless, he promises to meet them there. Before going shopping, Donna wishes upon a star for a cap similar to her grandpa Mike’s cap. When she goes shopping with Michael, she says she didn’t Sonny a present. However, she spots a cap resting on the bench and happily exclaims as she takes it up.

Brook Lynn informs Maxie that she is returning to work at Deception. Maxie is confused and asks her the reason. Brook Lynn reveals that she plans to gain control of the company and then give it to Maxie. She explains that Tracy has offered her Deception, and she has accepted the offer to return to the company. However, her plan is to have Tracy sign over Deception to her, and then she will transfer the ownership to Maxie.
Lucy enters and wonders why Brook Lynn is there. Lucy accuses Brook Lynn of being a spy and demands her to stay away from Deception. Brook Lynn argues back that her grandmother’s 51% ownership gives her the right to be there. They have a heated argument, where Brook Lynn reminds Lucy that her grandmother stepped in and saved Lucy and Deception.
Later, Brook Lynn tells Maxie that she is getting the company for her. Brook Lynn emphasizes that they are unstoppable when they join forces.
Robert asks Diane if she enjoyed their night together. She replies affirmatively and they share a kiss.
Diane then asks Robert about their relationship status and what she should call them when she gossips with Alexis about last night. Robert suggests that they just say they’re involved, but Diane thinks it would be better to say they’re dating. She wants to know if they’re dating exclusively and hopes that she is his top priority. Robert agrees and tells her that she is worth it.
Martin asks Laura about the Austin Gatlin Holt murder investigation. She informs him that Cyrus is a suspect. Martin acknowledges that their brother is a complicated man but is loyal to the family and will never give up on them. Laura agrees and adds that if Cyrus killed Austin, he must be prosecuted. Martin wonders why Cyrus would throw away everything he achieved since he was released from prison.
Later on, Sonny meets with Laura, and she wants to talk to him about Austin’s murder. She knows that Sonny spoke to Dante about Austin, and while Dante did not reveal his source, she knows it was Sonny who revealed to him that Austin and his cousin were working for Cyrus.
Laura wants to know if her brother killed Cyrus. Sonny notes that it is for the police to figure out. Eventually, Sonny says he doesn’t think Cyrus killed Austin. Laura thinks it is a possibility that Cyrus did it to shut Austin up after he wanted to give up the name of his boss to the cops. Sonny shares that Cyrus may not have had a motive for the crime. Since Cyrus was just released from prison, he wouldn’t want to go back there. Laura is relieved to hear Sonny’s opinion that her brother is not the killer. Martin returns, and Laura shares she just spoke with Sonny, who doesn’t think Cyrus killed Austin. She admits she doesn’t want Cyrus to be guilty.
Sonny meets up with Donna and Michael, who give him the cap, and Sonny realizes the cap is Mike’s own.
