General Hospital Episode Recap June 2, 2023: Victor Leaves Spencer A Smoking Gun!
Sam and Dante are enjoying a nice day by the MetroCourt pool. Dante goes to get her a drink and Sonny walks in and tells him about his engagement to Nina. They are having a nice chat until Sonny sees Ned and storms over to him demanding to know why he turned Carly in. Ned denies doing it but Sonny does believe him and starts to threaten him. Sam, Dante, and Oliva interrupt it and Olivia tells Sonny to stop.
Ned tells Sonny that he made the threat to Drew out of anger but never did anything about it and never would because Drew is family and he considers Carly his family too and would never hurt her. Sonny doesn’t believe him but Olivia does. Olivia and Ned walk away and Dante tries to calm Sonny down. Sonny, Dante, and Sam talk about who else it could be and the possible federal involvement regarding Sonny. Olivia apologizes for not believing Ned and he kisses her.
Jordan goes to Curtis’s house and isn’t sure she wants to know. She’s surprised when the door opens and Curtis is on the other side. He is surprised to see her too and she tells him that Portia told her that he moved back home. He tells her that he moved back but is still trying to figure things out. They talk about Trina being his daughter and Curtis asks her for more time. She tells him that she has waited for him long enough and isn’t going to wait anymore before leaving.
Ava goes to see Austin at the hospital and tells him that they have a problem. She is freaking out because Laura wants to go to Chechnya to look for Nikolas. Austin doesn’t see what the problem is but Ava is worried about the danger to Laura on a trip there. Austin agrees to come up with a plan to talk Laura out of going without giving themselves away.
Ava mentions being surprised that they haven’t heard from Mason right before he shows up at Austin’s office. He toys with them for a while before telling Ava he wants access to her family connections.
Michael goes to Carly’s and they talk about her potential deal options. She tells him that she is not going to turn on the man she loves or the man she used to love. Michael tells her that he might be able to get her a deal without her having to turn on anyone. He shows Carly a flash drive and tells her that there is evidence on it that Sonny trafficked illegal arms internationally.
Carly can’t believe it and asks him how he got it. He confesses that he hired someone to get evidence to take down Sonny but had decided not to use it after Willow asked him not to. Michael tells her that he wants to use it to get her out of trouble but Carly refuses. He tries to convince her but she stands firm and tells him that the video can never get out and asks who else knows about it.
At Dex’s apartment, Joss asks him to email her the Pikeman video so she can make a deal for her mother. Dex tells her that he doesn’t have it and explains that he gave the only copy to Michael. Joss doesn’t understand and he tries to explain that in his job what he finds isn’t his to keep so he gave the only copy to Michael.
Dex offers to let her search his computer but Joss believes him. He tells her that he will never lie to her or keep anything from her again. She asks him if their relationship is too much for him with all of her family baggage and he tells her that he is in love with her. He asks if that’s too much for her and Joss smiles and kisses him.
Spencer and Trina go to the bank where the safety deposit box that Victor left him is being kept. The box is handed over to them but Spencer doesn’t think they should open it. Trina tells him that he has to so he does. Inside is an Ipad but it’s battery is dead. Trina hooks it up to a charger she brought. They find an envelope as well. Inside is a copy of the receipt of Esme buying the drugs she used on Trina and Oz and a letter she wrote to Maggie telling her about drugging Oz.
Trina is surprised that she actually was drugged but relieved to know what happened. Spencer tells her about finding the pills and getting Britt to identify them for him. Once the Ipad is charged they turn it on and find a surveillance video of Esme buying the burner phone she used to make the revenge porn and set Trina up for it. Trina is thrilled that they have solid evidence against Esme and thinks Spencer can use it to get custody of his brother from her.
