Spoilers for General Hospital on June 26, 2023: Trina seeks quality time with Spencer. Brook Lynn is frantic. Laura encourages Anna. Nina spots a familiar face. Alexis and Diane catch up.

General Hospital Episode Recap June 26, 2023:Trina Feels Like The Third Wheel

Diane and Alexis are warming up at the Yoga studio and Alexis tries to talk to Diane about Robert. Diane shuts her down and tells her that there is nothing going on between them because Robert chose Holly. Alexis is confused because Holly left town but Diane tells her that she hasn’t heard from Robert so he is obviously home nursing a broken heart. Alexis decides to go eat instead of exercise and gets Diane to go with her.

At Laura’s apartment, Esme and Spencer are taking care of Ace in a civil manner and chatting about her job. She tells him that she’s worried that they won’t be able to keep getting along once Laura leaves for Chechnya. Trina arrives to spend some time with Spencer and Esme leaves them alone to put the baby to bed and to go to bed herself. They are chatting on the couch about the situation but Esme keeps coming out and interrupting them looking for things for Ace. 

Spencer and Trina assure each other that they will only have to put up with her until they can find the evidence to put her in prison. Trina talks about wanting to find evidence that they can trust as Spencer remembers the evidence that his uncle faked and that he kept. Esme comes out and tells Spencer that Ace won’t go to sleep until Spencer sings to him. Trina gets frustrated and decides to leave. Spencer kisses her goodbye but Esme interrupts them again. Trina watches Esme and Spencer tend to Ace from the doorway for a few moments before leaving sadly.

Robert, Laura, and Felicia are outside of Anna’s house talking about how she has been holed up and isn’t talking to anyone. Robert smells fire and they rush inside to find Anna burning her WSB memories in her fireplace. They question what she is doing and she tells them that none of it matters anymore and she is letting go of that part of her life.

They tell her that they are there to take her out to the Savoy for the night but she doesn’t want to go. Felicia ushers Robert out and sends him on to the Savoy ahead of them while she and Laura stay to talk to Anna. They tell her that they understand what she is doing but that she is being too hard on herself. Anna doesn’t know who she is if she’s not an agent and then decides that she is going to go to Chechnya to help Laura.

Laura is thankful but doesn’t think it’s a good idea. She tells Anna that it could look bad for her to go to that part of the world with all of the allegations against her fresh in everyone’s minds. Anna is upset but Laura assures her that she will find a way to help people because that is who she is and that she will find her new path if it doesn’t find her first. 

Nina is shocked when Ned walks up to her at the Savoy and starts talking to her about the shows that are played there. He introduces himself as Eddie Maine and offers to buy her a drink which she accepts. Michael and Sonny see them and go over, Sonny asking what is going on. He asks Nina to make a call for him and she gets the message, stepping away to call Olivia. Olivia is frantic at the hospital with Tracy, Brook Lynn, and Chase as they try to find Ned. She doesn’t answer Nina’s call so Nina calls Brook Lynn and tells her where Ned is.

Ned, Sonny, and Michael are talking about music when Robert interrupts, asking to talk to Sonny privately. He is berating Sonny for using Diane to get confidential information out of him when Diane arrives with Alexis and puts a stop to it. She tells Sonny she will handle it and takes Robert to a private area to talk. When Olivia, Tracy, Brook Lynn, and Chase get there no one can find Ned until he gets onstage and grabs a guitar, determined to play.

Before he can play he gets dizzy and almost passes out. He has to be helped off the stage and Olivia tries to talk him into going back to the hospital. Ned refuses so she tries to get him to go home with her but he refuses to do that as well. Ned takes off and Sonny and Nina follow him, promising to take care of him. Michael stays and comforts Olivia. In the corner, Diane berates Robert for how he treated her. He doesn’t understand why she is upset because Holly left so she isn’t between them anymore. Diane makes it clear that she has no interest in winning him by default.
