Nina couldn’t spend Thanksgiving with Willow and her grandkids, so she leaves a gift for them outside the door. Michael brings the gift inside, and an excited Wiley gets his hands on it meanwhile Willow asks who it is from. Willow reads the card and realizes it is from Nina, calling it very thoughtful. Wiley wonders why they didn’t have Thanksgiving dinner with grandma Nina at the big house, and Willow explains that Nina is working that day. Wiley expresses his sadness because he loves his grandma Nina. Although Michael isn’t thrilled about the gift, Willow asks him to play along for Wiley’s sake. Michael finds Nina’s note a bit manipulative, but Willow points out that Nina has made mistakes but is trying. Michael apologizes and agrees that Nina has been making an effort.

Nina arrives at the Quartermaines’ house and Ned answers the door. She starts talking, but he interrupts her and says that he remembers her and everything, but promises not to make trouble, at least not today. Everyone is happy that Nina could save the day, but they learn that the curse of pizza on Thanksgiving continues, as there is no more turkey available at the Metro Court. Wiley thanks Nina for the present, and she is happy that he loved it. Olivia invites Nina to stay, but she declines, saying that she is meeting Sonny at the Metro Court. As everyone walks off, Michael tells Nina that this is not what they agreed on. Nina says she cannot control fate at the Quartermaines, and Michael tells her that she better learn to control it. Gloria explains the dangers and her troubles with Uncle Pete further to Lois as Yuri listens. He steps in and offers to handle this for them and they warn him that they are dealing with some very dangerous people. Later, everyone sits inside as Ned plays the guitar, and they all sing.

Anna spends Thanksgiving with Emma and Robert, and later learns that Diane will be joining them. Robert introduces Diane to Emma, and Nina arrives, making eye contact with Anna. Trish tells Nina that all the turkeys are taken for tonight. Anna approaches Nina and confronts her about deleting the footage that showed Charlotte breaking into her room. Nina says she was just doing a favor for a friend and tells Anna that this is between her and Valentin. Anna warns Nina that Sonny might not see it that way. Later, while Nina is off rescuing the Quartermaines, Sonny joins the crew and is surprised to see Emma back in town. Emma questions Diane and Robert about how long they have been dating, while Anna tells Sonny about Forsyth. Nina returns to the Metro Court, and Sonny notices something off between the ladies. Nina tells him that it has to do with Valentin and Charlotte, but she doesn’t want to talk about it now. Instead, she shares that she is grateful for him.
Portia calls Trina on the phone during a slow day at work, but only reaches her voicemail and leaves a message. She hopes that this will be the end of Spencer’s involvement in Trina’s life. Meanwhile, Spencer and Trina spend Thanksgiving together in bed. Trina asks Spencer what he is thankful for, and he replies that he is grateful for her. When Trina is asked the same question, she mentions several things, including Joss, her mom, her grandad, her two fathers, and Spencer when he is not being a jerk. Spencer thanks Trina for helping him see things from a different perspective and admits that he is still worried about Ace. Trina encourages him to keep working hard for the things he wants, as good things don’t come easy.
Curtis tells Marshall about his plan to investigate who shot him. Despite having various things to be grateful for, Curtis believes that solving this case is his ultimate purpose. Marshall initially thought he wanted Curtis to move on, but Curtis says that he cannot. Things brighten up when Spencer and Trina arrive with their gifts. Curtis is pleasantly surprised. He assumed that since Portia was working, they had agreed to spend the holiday separately. Trina knows but she changed her mind because this is their first Thanksgiving together since she found out that Curtis is her father. When Portia arrives, everyone is surprised to see her, but she is especially surprised to see Spencer, whom Trina said she was having recent troubles with. Trina explains that they made up and it was just a minor disagreement. Curtis is happy that they are all together under the same roof. During dinner, he offers to say a prayer.
Carly, Drew, and Josslyn are preparing for Thanksgiving with the kids when Sonny arrives with Avery. Dex informs Sonny that the car is parked and he can let him know when he is ready. Sonny invites Dex to come in and say hi to Josslyn, which she appreciates as she did not expect to see him that day. Later, Ava arrives and Carly is happy that she could make it. Ava thanks Carly for inviting her, and Carly explains that Avery would want her there, especially after everything they have been through. As Ava goes inside, Sonny asks Carly if she is okay with Ava being there. Carly notes that it was Josslyn’s suggestion to invite her after the kidnapping, as she thought it would be nice for Avery to be with her mother, and they always do what is best for their kids. Ava tells Carly and Drew that she is trying to sell Spoon Island, and Lucy is assisting her.
