Lucas is Worried
Lucas (Van Hansis) may have just set a dangerous chain of events into motion.
After speaking with the PCPD, Lucas claimed that it was Pascal (Marc Forget) who shot and killed Marco. The problem is that Lucas already knows that’s not what really happened.
He and Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) recently pieced together the truth after Marco had stolen two vials of Britt’s medication to give to her. That discovery led them to the conclusion that Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) was actually the one responsible for Marco’s death.
Even so, Lucas pointed investigators in Pascal’s direction and encouraged them to head over to Wyndemere to look into it.
Now he’s worried he may have said too much.
And honestly, he probably should be.
The situation could quickly become a problem because this is Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) territory and son we’re talking about.
Once word gets back to him that the PCPD is suddenly investigating Pascal for Marco’s murder, Sidwell may start asking questions, and that is about to set off a chain of actions.
The last thing Lucas needs is for Sidwell to think he knows more than he’s letting on. Or for Pascal to be gunning for him.
For now, he’ll be left wondering whether his plan made things much worse.
Carly Presses Brennan for Answers
Elsewhere, Carly (Laura Wright) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) pay Brennan (Chris McKenna) a visit at Turning Woods.
Brennan requested to see Valentin, so Valentin shows up disguised as a nurse to make the meeting happen. But while he’s there, Carly has questions of her own.
A lot of questions.
She’s convinced Brennan had something to do with Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) latest mission and wants answers about her daughter’s sudden disappearance.
Carly isn’t backing down, either.
She intends to press Brennan for the truth. Will he be able to convince Carly that he had nothing to do with what happened to Josslyn? That’s a tough sell.
Willow and Chase End Up in an Awkward Situation
Meanwhile, Michael’s (Rory Gibson) plan appears to be falling right into place.
Chase (Josh Swickard) receives an unexpected offer, and it may be one that’s too good to pass up. However, circumstances could create a very different story for anyone looking in from the outside.
Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Chase end up spending time together, and before long, things start looking questionable.
At least from Tracy’s (Jane Elliot) perspective.
Tracy catches sight of them while they’re not exactly fully dressed, and we all know how quickly she jumps to conclusions.
If Tracy thinks something inappropriate is going on, she’s not likely to keep those thoughts to herself.
That means Willow and Chase need to be careful because this misunderstanding could send shockwaves through town. Just like Michael wants.
