Judah Mackey recently hit a major milestone, celebrating his 5th anniversary on The Young and the Restless as Connor Newman. The young actor joined the CBS daytime in 2019, making his debut on August 8 of that year. He took over the role from Gunner and Ruder Gadbois. So far, Mackey has been in over 100 episodes of Y&R. His latest storyline involves Connor being diagnosed with OCD.

In regards to this, Mackey shared on Instagram, “My character and his family struggling to cope with his OCD diagnosis and navigate treatment is very relevant because mental health affects so many kids and families. There are a lot of misconceptions and we really need to change the way we think and talk about mental health. I hope telling this story brings awareness and understanding to kids mental health and encourages others to know there’s hope and they’re not alone.”

As fans celebrated his 5th anniversary, Mackey said, “Thank you ! I love being a part of the #YR family and appreciate all the support and awesome fans!”

At the time Judah debuted on Y&R, he was credited with shows such as Criminal Minds and What/If. Now he’s credited with shows like The Morning Show, Gen: Lock, Stillwater, and more. This young actor is definitely going places. Happy 5th anniversary, Judah! (Photo: JPI)
