Kate Mansi is celebrating her 36th birthday today.
She was born Katharine Theresa Rose Morris on September 15, 1987, in Calabasas, California, to parents; Jeff and Victoria Morris in Southern California. She is of Irish and Italian descent and studied film and public relations at Pepperdine University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Mansi had an interest in dancing as a child. Her interest began when her mother (a dancer herself) enrolled her in dance classes. Mansi’s interest grew, and she joined the Pacific Festival Ballet at the age of 15. She danced in performances of the Nutcracker, Bambi, Peter Pan, and Heaven and Hell. In college, she competed in the National Womack Speech Competition, placing second, and volunteered in the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
Mansi joined the cast of Days of Our Lives as a series regular playing the role of Abigail Deveraux in 2011. Until the end of 2016, Mansi played the role and earned her first Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2017. Before Days of Our Lives, Mansi appeared in advertisements and played a guest role on How I Met Your Mother. Mansi returned to Days of Our Lives in November 2018 and 2020 for a short-term period of time. She joined the cast of General Hospital as Kristina Corinthos-Davis earlier this year.
