It was a surprise wedding for some—if not all—this past weekend, as General Hospital star Kate Mansi and her real-life love, Matt McInnis, tied the knot in front of a delighted crowd, including a few of her colleagues. The nuptials caught many off guard, especially since Mansi had previously hinted in a May Instagram post that the wedding was planned for July. Apparently, love couldn’t wait—and honestly, who can blame them?
Who Was at the Wedding?
Among the guests was Kristen Vaganos (Molly), who plays Mansi’s on-screen sister and cheekily confirmed her insider status, declaring, “For the record, I knew.” Giovanni Mazza, who portrays Gio, also shared a sweet Instagram Story capturing the couple’s first dance.
The Engagement
Mansi and McInnis announced their engagement back in July 2024, and nearly a year later, they’re officially Mr. and Mrs. This marks Mansi’s second marriage.
Kate Mansi currently stars as Kristina Corinthos-Davis on General Hospital and is well known to daytime fans for her previous role as Abigail on Days of Our Lives.
