Happy 61st Birthday to General Hospital’s Kim Delaney!
The Emmy-winning actress was born on November 29, 1961, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In high school, she worked as a model for Elite before moving to New York where she studied acting. She landed one of her first acting gigs with the role of Jenny Gardner on All My Children in 1981. She would earn a Daytime Emmy nomination in 1983 for her work.
After leaving the soap, she would play in a number of feature films and have significant roles in television series like LA Law, NYPD Blue, and Army Wives. In 2020, Delaney joined the cast of ABC’s General Hospital as Jackie Templeton. To celebrate check out some of our favorite throwback pictures of Kim from her time at All My Children:
