Move over, Molly Lansing-Davis! Kristen Vaganos, known to soap fans as the vibrant legal eagle in Port Charles on ABC’s General Hospital, is trading courtrooms for sandwich counters in a fun new project.

Vaganos is the star of a brand-new 15-second TV commercial for Subway titled “New Bread.”

In the quick-serve spot, she apparently plays someone in the Subway field, while a character named Robin, so caught up in the “softer, perfectly golden” Artisan Italian bread, completely tunes out the narrator.

While many recognize her role as Molly on GH, Vaganos is far from just a soap star. The Philadelphia native is a true multi-hyphenate in the industry: she is an actress with numerous gigs to her name, she is also a writer & producer, and a commercial pro.

This isn’t her first time on the small screen during breaks; she previously appeared in widely-seen ads for Grammarly, Best Buy, X-Finity, California Walnuts, and more.

The ad leans into a relatable, lighthearted vibe. On social media, she’s even jokingly leaned into the role, embracing the title of a “professional gluten enthusiast” while giving a shout-out to her team at BBR Talent Agency.

For the “Daily Drama” fans, this commercial is a fun break from Molly’s heavy storylines. Recently, viewers watched Molly navigate the physical and emotional toll of endometriosis surgery.

But it’s not all medical drama! On top of her career in the legal field, Molly is officially venturing into the world of writing as an author. And keep your eyes peeled for the developing romance with Cody Bell (played by Josh Kelly). You definitely don’t want to miss a single episode.

Fun Fact: Vaganos joins a long list of soap actors who ventured outside of daytime soap fame for major commercial spots! If you haven’t seen the ad yet, check it out below!
