Her Love Island journey may be over, but your favorite islander from season 7, Huda Mustafa, is back, and this time she is stepping into the music industry.
Since leaving the villa, Huda has been teasing fans about wanting to pursue music. It took a little while, but the wait is finally over. Her debut single, Bad Girls, dropped at midnight on May 22, 2026, and it is bad, but in the best way possible.
The track is now available on all major music platforms, and she also released an official music video alongside it.
The Video Opens With a Diva Entrance
The video starts off with a casual conversation between a group of women sitting in an office. They chat about being hungry and getting ready for a date before someone makes their grand entrance.
Suddenly, footsteps echo through the room, and the camera pans to a luxury handbag.
All of the ladies turn their heads to witness Huda making her grand entrance. “Hi divas,” she says with a smile before taking her seat at the table.
Huda notes that she knows they have all been acting good lately. “Oh, what are we?” they collectively ask. Even though they have been playing by the rules, Huda decides it is officially time for them to embrace their inner “bad girls.”
That is when the theme of the song kicks in.
“Bad Girls” Is All About Confidence
Once the music starts, the video launches into a high-energy pop and hip-hop track centered around confidence, self-reliance, style, and tuning out online negativity.
The lyrics lean heavily into empowerment and elevated status, repeating catchy lines like “with my high heels on and my hair real long.”
Toward the end of the video, the girls gather inside an elevator. Huda selects a floor, prompting the elevator’s automated speaker to announce that the chosen floor is for “bad girls only” right before the final explosive chorus kicks back in.
Huda HQ Has One Major Rule
The track concludes with the group establishing the ultimate golden rule of “Huda HQ”: sisters before misters.
The song was written by Huda herself and produced by ayetm & Test. Meanwhile, the music video was directed by Edar Esteves. Fans can check the video description for additional credits.
