The list of comings & goings for the Days of our Lives series continues to grow, as more familiar names are announced to make a comeback later this year. In celebration of Bill Hayes and his remarkable portrayal of Doug Williams on the show, Days of our Lives is set to pay tribute to actor and are also taping its 15,000th episode, which will see the return of several beloved characters. One such returning cast member is Maree Cheatham (Marie Horton), the sole surviving member from the original cast lineup.
On the heels of the exciting news of Melissa Reeves’ return to the show as Jennifer Horton Deveraux, comes the confirmation of Matthew Ashford’s reprisal of his role as Jack Deveraux. Additionally, it has been reported that Stephen Schnetzer has returned as Steve Olson and Gloria Loring as Liz Chandler.
Days of Our Lives had a big on celebration as they marked their 15,000th episode. And guess what? Martha Madison (Belle), Lamon Archey (Eli), Brandon Beemer (Shawn), Sal Stowers (Lani), and Victoria Konefal (Ciara) are all making a comeback.
We have also spotted Remington Hoffman among the ensemble commemorating this significant achievement. Is the resurgence of Li Shin now a possibility after all?
