It’s a devastating time, and reports from soap stars who have faced the California wildfires continue to flood in, highlighting those who have lost their homes or had to evacuate. Melissa Claire Egan, who is probably best known for her role as Chelsea Lawson on The Young and the Restless, shared an update with her fans via Instagram.
While she and her family are safe, they lost a new home they bought in Palisades; however, they hadn’t moved in yet. She shared, “Thank you so much to everyone reaching out. We are safe. Thank God. All that matters.” Egan continued, “But we just bought a house in the Palisades 2 weeks ago that’s now destroyed. We hadn’t moved in yet, but it’s gone. We are just grateful our babies are safe, but we are devastated, and this is all so horrific. Grateful to all the incredible first responders.”
