Melissa Ordway (Abby, The Young and the Restless), who now resides in Tennessee, with her husband, Justin Gaston, and their daughters, Olivia and Sophie, recently returned to Los Angeles for work—and boy, what a week she had. Her week even included a car break-in; thankfully, no one was hurt.
What Happened on Melissa Ordway’s Latest Trip to LA?
Ordway took to Instagram with a photo dump of her time in LA. Her first photo features her in Abby’s PJs on the set of The Young and the Restless. The second shows a red Jeep Wrangler where one of the windows was clearly smashed in.
The other photos show a few food stops at places like In-N-Out Burger and Layla Bagels, while the rest include some family time with her husband and kids. Her caption reads, “What a week in LA… sunshine, good food, great friends, work, and yes—even a car break-in. Never a dull moment. We love you, LA!”
Her Career
Melissa Ordway has been playing the role of Abby on Y&R since 2013. In May 2022, she earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Daytime Drama for her work on the show. In 2024, there was a change in status as the show moved Ordway to recurring. She has since filmed an episode of Blue Ridge, the series. The episode is yet to air.
