Fan favorite and ‘One Life to Live’ alum, Renee Elise Goldsberry [ex-Evangeline Williamson] will soon be back on our screens – this time in the movie called “The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks”. Doesn’t the title sound pretty interesting? – Well, you would be glad to know that drama also stars Oprah Winfrey and focuses on an African-American woman who becomes an unwitting pioneer for medical breakthroughs when her cells are used to create the first immortal human cell line in the early 1950s.
The movie is directed by George C. Wolfe and written by Peter Landesman and Rebecca Skloot, it also stars; Rose Byrne, Courtney B. Vance, Lisa Arrindell, Reed Birney and more with Goldsberry playing the lead role of Henrietta Lacks. Fans can look forward for its premiere on April 22, 2017 on HBO at 8PM.
