Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has definitely been through the wringer lately. Now that he’s back in town, he is quickly catching up on all the chaos surrounding the family companies. It hasn’t been an easy return, especially since his recent run-in with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) was pretty much a total disaster.
Nick is finally ready to get something off his chest, and he’s choosing Victoria (Amelia Heinle) as his confidant. Fans are already guessing what this big secret could be. Is he going to talk about his addiction or perhaps some lingering baggage from his time in Vegas? There is even a chance it links back to the infamous Matt Clark (Roger Howarth). Whatever he decides to share, we can’t wait to see it.
Chelsea Questions Adam’s Vegas Connection
In other parts of town, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) is starting to grill Adam (Mark Grossman) about Riza (Tina Casciani). It’s clear that the recent drama in Vegas has her on edge. She understands that Adam only went back there to help his brother, but the history between Adam and Riza is hard to ignore.
They used to be somewhat close, and Chelsea is clearly feeling a little insecure about their current connection. She knows Adam’s past is complicated, but is this a bridge too far for her?
Lauren Drops a Truth Bomb on Phyllis
Y&R spoilers for May 8 also tease that Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) is set to give Phyllis a warning. The two are currently working together at Summers Conglomerate. While many people in town view the business as stolen property, Phyllis isn’t budging. She truly believes she worked for it and deserves to keep every bit of it.
Lauren has been one of the only people to stay by her side through the madness, so Phyllis really needs to listen to what she has to say. Getting on Lauren’s bad side would be a huge mistake. We will have to wait and see if Phyllis takes the advice or if she continues to play with fire.
