Lisa Yamada is quite the find! The Bold and the Beautiful struck gold, casting her as Luna Nozawa, and this week she seized the opportunity to shine while rightfully earning the title of Soap Opera News’ performer of the week.
In the latest drama on the CBS daytime show, she has been absolutely nailing Luna’s villainous side. As Luna’s sinister nature was unveiled, Yamada delivered back-to-back outstanding performances, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.
Luna confessed to Steffy (whom she held hostage in a cage) about killing Tom and Hollis and setting up her own mother. She even admitted that her night with Zende was all part of the plan, as she pretended to be high on her mom’s special mints. She didn’t hold back about her messed-up childhood either. Lisa Yamada absolutely killed it with that heartfelt speech about her past and the grudge she holds against her mom, whom she says was always on drugs and bringing random men home. Clearly, Luna had a tough childhood.
To sum it up—Lisa Yamada slays this vixen performance and gave a masterclass. Congrats on being chosen the performer of the week.
