The Bold and the Beautiful is an American television soap opera which was created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell for CBS. B&B made its premiere on March 23, 1987 as a sister show to The Young and the Restless and over time we’ve seen several characters from each of the two shows crossover to the other. B&B is set in Los Angeles, California with the show centered on the Forrester family and their fashion house business Forrester Creations. There is also the Spencer Family and the Spectras. The program features an ensemble cast, headed by its longest-serving actors; John McCook as Eric Forrester and Katherine Kelly Lang as Brooke Logan. Aside from that, other former cast members; Hunter Tylo [ex-Taylor], Ronn Moss [ex-Ridge] and Susan Flannery [ex-Stephanie] still hold the longest running appearances on the show.
