Should Days of Our Lives Bring Cassie Brady Back?

With the recent return of Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder), is it time to bring his twin sister Cassie back as well?


Days of Our Lives fans will remember the strange storyline that started off the story of Cassie and Rex. The two appeared during a meteor shower in 2002 and were widely believed to be aliens. I still believe it! LOL But as we soon learned, Cassie and her twin were the biological children of Roman Brady and Kate Roberts thanks to some weird meddling by Stefano DiMera. 


Fans had to watch as Cassie fell for her cousin Shawn Douglas and almost slept with her half-brother Lucas Horton before finding out the truth about her parentage. We never really got to see Cassie become a fully fleshed-out character though, because not long after she was “killed” by the Salem Stalker. (Marlena Evans who was controlled subliminally by Andre DiMera) How can we forget Cassie’s body being dropped out of a Thanksgiving piñata for everyone to see?!


A few months later we discover that Cassie hadn’t actually died. She along with other victims Abe, Jack, Maggie, Caroline, Doug, Alice, and her father Roman were discovered on the island of Melaswen (New Salem spelled backward). Shortly after she made her way back to Salem, Cassie takes off to Chicago with her brother.
