One of Days of our Lives‘ most iconic stars, Peter Reckell (Bo Brady) just revealed on X that he wants to return to the sudser full time and we’d love it!
Responding to a post on X paying tribute to Days veterans and Reckell, he said, “I would love to be a regular on the show and join the talented veterans there.” The post mentioned how glorious it was for Peter Reckell in a younger state to work with such professionals of a certain quality and how much of a full circle moment it would be for younger actors of today to work with Peter Reckell.
Reckell Wants to Return to Days As A Regular
While Reckell last appeared on the show in 2023, it has been at least 10 years since he last played the character on contract. During his tenure on the show, Reckell captivated audiences alongside his on-screen partner, Kristian Alfonso, creating one of daytime television’s most beloved couples, affectionately referred to as “Bope.” He was also a part of some of the greatest soap moments and storylines on the show.
He was recognized for his standout performance with a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in 2009. In addition to Days of our Lives, Reckell has also played notable roles in As the World Turns as Eric Hollister and in Knots Landing as Johnny Rourke.
