Should Days of Our Lives Hire McKenzie Westmore as Emily Hudson – Rafe’s Ex-Fiance?

It’s time to bring her back! Former soap star and Face Off host, McKenzie Westmore has made it no secret that she would love to return to the world of soaps which originally put her on the map. Whether in a recurring capacity or otherwise, McKenzie is pretty opened to doing soaps again. Then, why not bring her back and reconnect with her former co-stars and once again reignite a powerful chemistry that existed between her and Galen Gering (Rafe, Days of Our Lives).


Longtime soap viewers would remember her for her outstanding portrayal of Sheridan Crane on ‘Passion’ and Dr. Riley Sinclair on ‘All My Children’. Since the shows she acted on were canceled fans have been clamoring for her return to daytime television. Some fans have even suggested that ‘Days of Our Lives’ hire her and once again pair her with Galen as they were a hit super-couple as Luis and Sheridan aka “Shuis” on ‘Passions’.


It is highly recommended and suggested that Westmore plays the part of Emily Hudson, Rafe’s ex-fiance who was much talked about but never seen except in a flashback scene which aired on July 31, 2009. Emily was a huge secret in Rafe’s past, one that has yet to be fully addressed. Emily was engaged to Rafe and unfortunately died tragically in a car accident (a car Rafe was driving) on the day of their wedding. Though Rafe is currently married to Hope (Kristian Alfonso) we know that no love story ever really lasts without hitches on soap operas. So, do fans agree – should Westmore be hired as Emily Hudson?
