• Tessa Auberjonois, who has been playing Judge Eva Heran, has exited the show. Her character was killed off last week.
• Kirsten Storms made her final appearance — for now — this week, as Maxie was sent to a hospital in Boston. She is expected to return to the screen in 2026

• Anne Makovec will guest star as Ronna in the September 9th episode.

• Mishael Morgan returns this week as Amanda Sinclair.
• Christian LeBlanc is back on this week as Michael Baldwin.
• Roger Howarth has been tapped for a mystery role on The Young and the Restless. He is set to make his debut this fall.
• Tamara Braun has joined the cast of The Young and the Restless. She will make her debut later this month in the role of Sienna.
• Tristan Rogers made his final TV appearance as Colin on Y&R on August 26.
