A number of daytime stars both past and present are working on an exciting new film. “The Surrogate” is currently in production and slated for a release later this year. The upcoming film is written by Adam Rockoff and directed by Isak Borg and Dena Hysell. With a number of notable soap stars amongst the cast, the film promises to be good. General Hospital’ John J. York (Mac) steps back into his police charm as Detective Logan in the upcoming film while former co-star Kelly Thiebaud (ex-Britt) takes on the role of Danielle. Days of Our Lives’ Mary Beth Evans (Kayla) will stay in her “Days” career field as she plays Dr. Jorgensen. The Bold and the Beautiful alum Maeve Quinlin (ex-Megan) plays Caro Morrison while All My Children alum Brooke Newton (ex-Colby) plays Brady and Amaris Davidson who briefly played Dr. Rose on The Young and the Restless will pay Doctor Peggs. Other members of the cast include; Brian Ames, Lola Blanc, Kit Williamson, Jaclyn Hayles, Nancy Nave and Jim Meskimen. Stay tuned for more updates.
