Two former daytime stars are set to star in a new upcoming thriller. Kelly Sullivan who played Connie/Kate on General Hospital and Sage on The Young and the Restless and Shawn Christian who played Daniel Jonas on Days of Our Lives will star in “Instakiller”. The film is directed by Craig Goldstein and written by Carlee Malemute and Jesenia Ruiz. Sullivan plays Layla while Christian plays Derek among other cast members; Lizze Broadway, Darren Barnet, Hector Hugo and Tunisha Hubbard. Here’s a brief synopsis of the upcoming thriller exclusively from Soap Opera News: When Layla’s teen daughter Harper becomes internet famous overnight, Layla’s worried about the amount of online attention Harper’s suddenly receiving – a fear that proves justified when they realize Harper has a stalker. Now it’s up to Layla to save her daughter from a psychopath who’ll do anything to be with her – and kill anyone who gets in his way.
