Heaven has received another angel. Former US first lady Barbara Bush passed away at the age of 92. The official announcement of her death came via a statement from the office of her husband and former president, George HW Bush. The soap community had several reactions as they learned of her death. Former All My Children star, Susan Lucci (ex-Erica Kane) shared, “A light has gone out in the world tonight with the passing of First Lady Barbara Bush—a strong and steady light, full of wisdom and humor, strength of character, and blessed straight talk. I met her in the eighties at their then Vice President’s residence. I was struck by her graciousness and quick wit—The world was a better place because she was in it.
