In today’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful which aired on August 12, 2024: Liam gives Will brotherly advice about Bill, Poppy and Katie; Katie’s diligent detective work comes crashing down on Poppy.
Kickstarting the episode, Katie tries to convince Bill that Poppy is dangerous and killed those two men at Il Giardino just as Luna walks in and finds her mom standing there. Right away, Poppy asks Katie what she’s doing there, and Katie responds that she’s there to warn Bill.
Spencer Brothers At Il Giardino
Will and Liam grab lunch at Il Giardino. Liam’s stoked to see his brother in the flesh again. He brings up Will’s cringey re-entry to LA, and Will admits he’s skeptical about Poppy and their new sister, Luna.
Liam asks why Will has doubts. Will explains that Poppy and Luna seem like they hit paydirt with Bill. In fact, Bill and his new fam are seriously weird. Will says he has a bad feeling about Luna and her mom living it up at the Spencer Estate. Something’s not right with their dad, and he thinks it’s got something to do with the Nozawa women. But Liam sees things differently; he thinks Poppy and Luna are sweet and that Poppy loves their dad.
The Bold and the Beautiful Recap Today: Over at Forrester Creations
Brooke and Ridge are all lovey-dovey, chatting about Brooke repping her bedroom line and being in the spotlight again. RJ walks in with pizza from Il Giardino, but his expression freaks out his parents. They ask if it’s about Luna, and he reveals that it’s about her mom. RJ’s unsure if he should spill more, but they push him, and he reveals that Luna found Tom Star’s backpack at her mom’s place. The bag was stuffed with letters from Tom to Poppy, claiming he’s Luna’s dad, and Katie’s got her own theories about it.
RJ doesn’t really think Poppy is a murderer, but he feels it would be super tough for Luna if it turns out to be true. Ridge suspects Sheila has something to do with the murders, even though they let her go, but Brooke thinks her sister must have a good reason for thinking Poppy is guilty.
Spencer Estate
Poppy wants Katie to leave but she insists she is not going anywhere—she has to warn Bill about the murderer living with him. Poppy’s going on about how she’s innocent, but then Katie brings up Tom’s backpack with letters for Poppy found at her place.
Poppy questions how Katie found out about the letters and then Katie reveals that RJ told her. He was all reluctant when we crossed paths at Il Giardino. Katie then spills the tea that RJ let it slip that Poppy confessed to Luna about seeing Tom on the night of the concert when he died. Bill’s all confused, wondering why Poppy didn’t tell him about this. Katie says it’s obvious, because Poppy needed to silence anyone who knew her secret and could mess things up with Bill.
Today’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful ended with real drama! So, Katie tells Bill to get a second paternity test. Then, out of the blue, Chief Baker shows up with a cop because Katie called him. They got a search warrant for Ms. Nozawa’s place and found Tom’s backpack there. Poppy swears she’s innocent, but Baker has some drugs as evidence. He arrests Poppy, and now Luna is all confused, questioning everything. Bill just hopes this isn’t true. Baker reads Poppy her rights and takes her away. Drama!
