The Young and the Restless actress, Lauralee Bell (Christine Williams) is celebrating a grand milestone today. Bell began playing the role of Christine Blair Williams on July 15, 1983 and remains the sole actress to have played the role. Her character was introduced as a teen model who later developed into a lawyer and district attorney. Though she was initially on contract for a number of years, the actress now appears on the show on a recurring basis.

Her romantic life story includes her marriage to rock singer Danny Romaotti (ex-Michael Damian) who later left her for Phyllis who he believed was carrying his child. This fueled an ongoing rivalry between the two women. Christine later got involved with and married Paul Williams (Doug Davidson). Christine was also romantically paired with or had flings with; Nick (Joshua Morrow), Philip Chancellor III, Scott Grainger, Chase Benson and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).

After engaging in several different storylines, Bell’s work on the show earned her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama series in 2016. Watch her debut and throwback videos below as we celebrate her 39th anniversary.
