There’s nothing like missing your favorite characters/actors from your daytime soap operas. You know, watching the show every weekday makes the actors and characters feel like a part of your family — all woven into your daily routine. It’s no wonder fans of The Bold and the Beautiful are really eager for Matthew Atkinson’s return as Thomas Forrester.

Clearly, there’s no sign that Atkinson is done with the show, but fans last saw his character in July when he moved back to France with his fiancée and his son Douglas. Since then, fans have been all over social media platforms, including X (formerly known as Twitter), making it clear they want to see Thomas back on the show. And hey, now would be the perfect time—with his ex, Hope, kissing his sister’s husband, his sister being kidnapped, and his mom back in town (with a whole new face and everything as Rebecca Budig takes over the role), the timing is ripe for Thomas to be back on the canvas.

How do you feel about Thomas’s absence on the show?

  1. Bring back Thomas!!! Reunite the beautiful couple Thope

  2. Thomas is missed by a lot of Thope fans who hated the nonsensical story of Hope suddenly having delusional feelings about Steffy’s husband. She always wanted a 1-woman-man, why would she suddenly again want a man who loves Steffy? A stupid story which many viewers hated.
Thope have the best chemistry in years, why the show wouldn’t use them puzzles me.

  3. I agree that Thomas needs to return and save Hope from her obsessive feelings from Finn and reunite my favorite duo Thomas and Hope, they belong together. Thope Forever!
