B&B Recap August 29: Ivy Supports Electra
In the design office at Forrester, Electra is hard at work when Ivy tells her to be careful — maybe save some energy for tonight. Electra laughs and says she’s way too excited and can’t wait to be with Will.
Carter Wants to Elope
Carter tells Hope he wants to make her his wife as soon as possible. He’s not trying to rush her or force a deadline, but he really wants to marry her, like, right away.
Carter suggests they go to his place after work, pour some wine, and start planning the wedding. He even jokes that if Hope’s up for it, he could get a jet and they could elope. Joking or not, he says he doesn’t care if it’s big or small; he just wants to marry her.
Bill Questions Liam
Meanwhile, Liam and Bill talk. Bill asks if he can get Liam anything, but talk quickly shifts to Ivy. Bill presses Liam for an update on what’s going on. Liam admits there was a time he and Ivy were more than friends… and from what he’s seen, she might still want to be more than that.
Bill reminds Liam that Ivy is an impressive woman. Liam agrees, but says things are complicated with Hope and the family. He realizes he may be figuring things out too late, but he’s ready to fight for his family now. Bill tells him he’d better make a move before Carter and Hope tie the knot.
Bill reminds him she’s engaged to Carter, and Liam says he was the one who told her to forgive Carter.
Liam notes he’s done bouncing back and forth. It’s not about Finn or Steffy anymore. It’s about him — and who he really is. When he thought he was dying, everything became clear: Hope is the woman he’s supposed to be with. If there’s a chance to make that real, he’s going for it — tonight.
Li Gives Luna A Reminder
Li walks in on Luna and tells her it’s ridiculous that she’s still pining after Will. She says it’s obvious Will is already in love with Electra Forrester. Luna insists he’s not as committed as he could be — especially with someone like her.
Li questions whether Luna is getting delusional and hopes she’s just kidding. She understands Luna wants love, but says after everything that’s happened, it won’t be with Will. She doesn’t think Will will ever forgive her.
As Li leaves, Luna can’t stop thinking about that night with Will. “That’s what you think, Grandma,” she says to herself.
Will Questions Sheila
Will questions Sheila about who came into his room and what she knows. Sheila flashes back to Luna confessing to her, but then says to Will; Why would she know anything about that?
Sheila insists she doesn’t know anything. Deacon didn’t say anything about a girl going into Will’s room. Will tells her Electra has a special night planned, and he can’t afford distractions. If Sheila knows anything, he needs to know.
Sheila Updates Luna
Sheila later tells Luna that Will came by, asking questions. He’s confused about what happened at his party. He remembers a girl in a mask but not much else. Sheila notes he sounded pretty out of it — and all Luna claims she gave him was a few drinks.
Luna adds that maybe Will doesn’t remember all the details… but she does. She says she’ll never forget that night.
Luna opens up to Sheila, wondering if there’s been a big change between Will and Electra. She worries that Will might be leaving town. Sheila quickly dismisses that, saying he’s not going anywhere, but something has definitely shifted. She explains that Will and Electra have been seeing more of each other lately. Luna, trying to stay hopeful, insists that Electra can’t connect with Will the way she does. But Sheila doesn’t hold back — she tells Luna the hard truth: Will and Electra are going to be together that way tonight. Luna tries to stay composed, but the news clearly hits her hard.
Will and Electra’s Special Night
Will shows up to meet Luna. He compliments the decor, saying it’s beautiful. She tells him how loving, protective, and understanding he is. She never imagined she’d meet the man she was meant to be with — and she can’t wait to make tonight special.
Will and Electra share a quiet, intimate moment. He tells her that he doesn’t want to talk about the party anymore. Electra tells him how long she’s waited for this moment — for them — and how much his kindness and patience have meant to her. Will pulls her closer and assures her that she’s the only woman for him. He tells her not to doubt that, no matter what.
B&B Recap August 29: Liam and Beth Visit Hope
Beth is glowing as she tells her parents how happy she is that her dad is doing better. Hope and Liam smile, soaking in the warmth of their daughter’s joy. The three of them talk about planning a family picnic, with Beth saying nothing makes her happier than being together, just the three of them, like it used to be.
Liam agrees, and they are pulled into a big family hug. Across the room, Carter watches the moment unfold, and his face says it all.
