At some point last year former ‘All My Children’ actor Aiden Turner [ex-Aidan Devane] was spotted on the set of ‘The Young and the Restless’. Immediately, rumors began swirling that he had joined the cast of the CBS daytime sudser, nonetheless it’s been almost a year and still no truth to the rumor, so was he ever really set to join the cast?
Word is that Turner was spotted on set but was possibly just visiting some of his friends for instance his former AMC co-star Melissa Claire Egan [Chelsea, Y&R and ex-Annie Lavery, AMC]. It was also speculated that Turner was doing a screen test to become the new Adam Newman during the time Justin Hartley was set to exit the show. But, it has been quite a long time since that rumor started so it seems Turner was just making a visit to the set.
But, could there have been any truth to a screen test between Egan and Turner? Was he suppose to become the new Adam Newman? Was He suppose to become Chelsea’s new love interest?
