Sonny Carly In General Hospital (GH) Recap April 22, 2024
Sonny and Carly had a clear disagreement about important matters. Upon discovering that Jason repurchased Carly’s share of the Metro Court and she accepted it, Sonny confronted her. He brought up the fact that he tried to do the same for her, but his offer was rejected. Sonny remained steadfast in his belief that Jason was working against him, especially since he has been allegedly working for the FBI. Carly, however, tried to reassure Sonny that Jason was not plotting against him, reasoning that if that were the case, Sonny would have been arrested already.
They also clashed over Carly and Michael’s decision to hire Dex. Carly reminded Sonny of Dex’s numerous interventions that saved his life, and how Michael, upon obtaining evidence to incriminate Sonny, brought it to her and she destroyed it. The heated exchange reached an impasse as Carly questioned whether this was truly the end for them after enduring so much over the years. Sonny, resolute, affirmed that it was indeed the end and walked away.
Nina Signs Divorce Papers In GH Recap April 22, 2024
At Nina’s office at Crimson, Nina was clearly emotional. She swiftly entered her office and instructed her assistant, Maddison, to contact her lawyer and explore the options for nullifying a contract she had signed under false pretenses. Nina then stopped Maddison and imparted valuable advice: when people show you who they are, believe them. As she delved into the topic of betrayal by a friend, Nina’s emotions ran high.
Ava’s unexpected arrival prompted Nina to address the situation immediately. Nina demanded answers. She sought the truth behind Ava’s deceit, making it clear that she would not be taken for a fool. Despite Ava’s attempts to play things cool, Nina saw through her facade. She called out Ava for developing feelings for Sonny and wanting him for herself. Nina did not hold back. She expressed her emotions openly, allowing Ava to bear the brunt of her frustration. The encounter culminated in Nina signing the divorce papers and relinquishing the same to Ava, granting her freedom to pursue Sonny.
Reflecting on her journey with Sonny, Nina, with tear-filled eyes, removed her wedding ring and, in a poignant moment, summoned Maddison to arrange for its delivery to Sonny’s address.
General Hospital (GH) Recap April 22, 2024
At The Savoy, Lois took charge of setting up Brook Lynn’s bridal shower with the assistance of Maxie. Later, Josslyn and Willow arrived to lend a helping hand. Drew stopped by and engaged in a pleasant conversation with Willow, who sought advice about Amelia and swimming lessons. As he prepared to leave, Drew mentioned that he has been spending considerable time with Nina at Crimson, where she often talks about Willow and the kids.
Sam/Jason/Danny/Kristina
Jason discovered Danny in his room at Bobbie’s and offered him some encouraging words before bringing him to Sam, who was spending quality time with Kristina. Kristina took Danny out for tea, allowing his parents to talk. Kristina tried to explain why his mother acts so protective. Danny explained that his mom is afraid he will turn out like his dad.
Sam insisted that Jason stay away from their son, despite Jason’s assertion that Danny wants a relationship with him. Ultimately, Jason reluctantly agreed with Sam’s wishes.
