Mariah tries to keep things under wraps, but after some serious motherly interrogation, she spills the beans about her “drunken mistake” that Tessa better never catch wind of!
Mariah confesses to knocking back a few mini-bar drinks to mask the heartache, and then—surprise!—she just kept on going! Now she feels as guilty as ever, even declaring that Ian Ward (Ray Wise) would be proud of her.
Sharon thinks letting one soirée blunder ruin her life is downright silly. Sharon thinks her daughter should just tell Tessa about it. However, there seems to be more to the story because Mariah insists that Tessa can never know.
