The Young and the Restless Recap for Today, November 28, 2023:

What happened today on The Young and the Restless: Victor leads the Newmans into battle as Nikki fights for her life against Jordan.

Victoria is in shock when Claire calls her “mother”. Claire explains that she’s Victoria’s daughter, but Victoria denies it, saying that she’s never seen Claire before she started working for Nikki. Claire accuses Victoria of ignoring her all her life because she wanted to become a CEO. Victoria denies being her mother, but Claire tells Aunt Jordan that she was right about Victoria. Meanwhile, Victor demands to know where his wife is, but Jordan warns him not to hurt her or Claire. She tells him that only she and Claire can save them. 

Victor tries to negotiate with Jordan, but she tells him that her sister is dead, so he should stop trying. Claire insists that she and Jordan are the only ones who can help them. Victoria asks Cole if Jordan is his aunt, but he’s not sure since he had only met her a few times and his mom and her didn’t get along. Nick checks the windows and doors and realizes that everything is locked. Jordan warns them that even if they escape, they are miles away from everywhere, so they won’t survive. She admits that she’s enjoying this payback.

Claire confronts Cole and Victoria about ignoring her existence for years. Victoria denies any relation to her. Victoria claims her aunt has been lying to her all along. Cole agrees with Victoria, but Claire insists that she is Eve and has changed her name to Claire Grace. She accuses Victoria of being the one who is lying.

Meanwhile, Nikki has a dream where Victor confronts her about her drinking problem. He encourages her to fight and come back home to him. Nikki doubts her ability to do so, but Victor reminds her of her strength and encourages her to fight. Nikki repeats the word “fight” and gets out of bed, causing the IV machine to fall and make a loud noise. Downstairs, Nick and others hear the noise, but Jordan dismisses it as her cat playing around upstairs.

Nikki is struggling to get out of a situation and encourages herself by saying that she is stronger than this. In her mind, she sees Claire and demands that she gets out of her way. But Claire refuses to leave, saying that Nikki is the best assistant she’s ever had. Nikki chooses to continue believing Claire’s lies and tells her that she will not die here. She insists that she is stronger than Claire thinks she is.

Meanwhile, downstairs, Claire says everyone in school had parents except her because her mother was so busy living like a Newman princess. Victoria points out that her baby Eve died; she buried her, mourned her, and thought about her every day since. Cole is concerned and questions Claire if she is happy with putting the woman through this ordeal again. Meanwhile, Victor tries to bribe Jordan by offering her money, but she refuses it, saying that all she wants is to make Victor suffer the same way he made her sister suffer. Jordan blames Victor for everything that happened to her sister. Victor even goes to the extent of offering himself in exchange for releasing everyone, but Jordan is not willing to accept it.

 

Victoria says she will never believe that Claire is her daughter; this is a con conjured up by her aunt Jordan. Cole says this is done; they will not torture them anymore. They attempt to get the door open, but the poison starts to work on them. Victoria is still adamant that Claire is not her daughter; it is just not possible, and Cole notes he watched their daughter take her last breath. Jordan reveals that the child they buried was not their daughter. She was in mourning over her sister; they took her sister away from her, so she had to take something from them. Jordan reveals she took Claire from the hospital to make the family pay for all their sins. Claire calls out Jordan for lying and says she is done listening to her.

 

 

Jordan and Nick get into a fight while Victor heads upstairs, calling Nikki’s name. Nikki answers and tells him that she’s up there. Cole and Victoria beg Claire to help them; she demands that they tell her that she is their daughter. Victoria still doesn’t believe it. Victor finds Nikki, and they hug. Things intensify as Jordan grabs a knife and runs upstairs and Nick chases after her. She slashes Nick with the knife and as she gets to the room with the bloody knife, she says to Victor and Nikki, “Just where the hell do you think you’re going?“
