According to a report from PEOPLE, Grimes married voice actor Brock Powell at the Columns Hotel in New Orleans on Saturday, November 8. Their intimate celebration was full of local flair, featuring a pianist, a lively street parade, and even a tarot card reader.
Grimes and Powell told PEOPLE,
“We wanted our friends and family to feel like they’re on an adventure with us — a few days to explore a new place, eat some incredible food, and take in everything New Orleans has to offer. And at the end, throw an incredible party and thank them for their support and love!”
The couple’s almost 75 guests included Grimes’ uncle and actor Scott Grimes, real-life friends Robert Palmer Watkins (ex-Dillon Quartermaine, General Hospital), Hayley Erin (Claire Newman, Y&R), voice actor Eric Bauza, and Phineas and Ferb creator Dan Povenmire.
For her big day, Grimes wore an elegant two-piece ensemble from KYHA.
Camryn and Brock began dating around 2020, and years later — on January 7, 2022, Grimes’ 32nd birthday — Powell proposed. Naturally, she said yes!
As for what’s next, the newlyweds are planning a family trip to New Zealand, followed by a romantic getaway to Fiji for just the two of them. The couple also shared that they look forward to a future filled with pets, travel, and rest, along with some creative collaboration. They’re already planning to co-write a children’s book dedicated to their son.
