In the November 5th episode of the CBS daytime drama, Holden decides it’s time to finally come clean with Claire (Hayley Erin). After all, he doesn’t want his past with her nemesis, Audra Charles, to come between them. So, he sits her down and promises to tell her the whole truth and nothing but (at least according to him).
Holden Tells Claire the Truth in Young and the Restless Spoilers
As Claire packs for her trip back to Genoa City, Holden drops by her L.A. hotel room with a story that’s bound to shake things up. He explains that back in the day, he worked as a bartender at The Shadow Room, and that’s where he first met Audra.
She was a regular, but one night she showed up with a particular man and ordered champagne. What followed was a night neither of them would forget.
According to Holden, the guy Audra was with kept trying to get her drunk, and when Holden stepped in to stop him, the man threatened to have Mitch fire him.
Things escalated when Audra, apparently in a panic, lifted the man’s wallet and bolted. The next day, she returned terrified; turns out the man had sent goons after her. She begged Holden to take the wallet and lie, saying he found it in the bathroom.

Holden says that’s exactly what he did when the guy came looking. But, inside that wallet was a cashier’s check worth half a million dollars! The man accused Holden, but Mitch jumped in to defend him. Still, Audra had already skipped the country, leaving chaos (and a missing fortune) behind.
Fast-forward to now, and Holden admits Audra later sent him $100,000 to keep his mouth shut. Talk about hush money! So, that’s the secret tying Audra and Holden together, and it’s a big one.
With that said, what will Claire do with this info? And what happens if Nate (Sean Dominic) or Kyle (Michael Mealor) were to find out?
