The Young and the Restless fan favorites Christel Khalil (Lily Winters) and Bryton James (Devon Winters) are headed to Beyond the Gates this November!
While this will mark Khalil’s very first time crossing over to Fairmont Crest, it marks James’ third appearance on the CBS daytime drama. In fact, James was part of one of the show’s biggest disaster episodes when a massive tornado hit Fairmont Crest.
According to a new report from TV Guide Magazine by Stephanie Sloane, the on-screen brother and sister duo will interact with Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) and Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie) as The Articulettes head into the studio to record a new album. Apparently, Lily is a huge fan of the group!
Lily and Devon Are Headed to Beyond the Gates
The crossover will also continue to honor the enduring legacy of the late Kristoff St. John, who played Neil Winters before his passing in 2019. “He’s a television legend, so I think it’s an incredible gesture,” James shared.
While this is Khalil’s first daytime soap crossover, James is certainly no stranger to traveling outside of Genoa City. This trip marks his third time heading over to the DMV area. During his past appearances on Beyond the Gates, he worked closely with lead stars Tunie, Davis, and Karla Mosley (Dani Dupree)—who once temporarily filled in as his love interest, Amanda Sinclair on The Young and the Restless.
Off-screen, Khalil and James share a famously tight bond, and both are Daytime Emmy Award winners! The talented duo will make their special crossover appearance on Beyond the Gates on November 4.
