No one could ever forget a character like Sami Brady on ‘Days of Our Lives’. Sami was Salem’s greatest troublemaker who left an impact on residents and viewers. And, despite not being on the show currently, she remains to be one of the most talked about characters of all time. It all began on this day in 1993 when Alison Sweeney made her debut in the role on the NBC daytime drama. Sami has been known for her failed relationships with men and her children. She is also known for her manipulative trouble-making ways and is described as a vindictive girl “you love to hate”. Throughout her time on the show, Sami has been paired with some significant characters such as; Austin Reed (ex-Austin Peck), Brandon Walker (ex-Matt Cedeno), Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), Rafe (Galen Gering) and EJ DiMera (ex-James Scott). She’s also had some impactful storylines some of which earned her 1 Daytime Emmy Award win as America’s Favorite Villain in 2005 and a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2015.
