General Hospital actress Alley Mills is celebrating her 73rd birthday today.
Born as Allison “Alley Mills” on May 9, 1951, in Chicago, Illinois, she comes from a family deeply rooted in the entertainment industry. Her father, Ted Mills, was a prominent television executive, while her mother, Joan (Paterson) Mills Kerr, made her mark as an author and editor for American Heritage magazine. Alley’s stepmother, Genevieve (Ginette Marguerite Auger), was also part of the acting world. She cherishes the bond with her sister, Hillary Mills Loomis, and her older brother, Tony Mills. Notably, her stepfather, Chester B. Kerr, served as a director at Yale University Press.
Alley Mills’ late husband, Orson Bean, left a remarkable legacy as a film, television, stage actor, and author. Her acting journey commenced with the role of an attorney in the short-lived comedy, The Associates. However, she captured hearts with her portrayal of Pamela (Pam) Douglas on The Bold and the Beautiful before gracing the screens as Heather Webber on General Hospital. Let’s join in and extend our warmest wishes to this talented actress on her special day!
