The Bold and the Beautiful is an American television soap opera which was created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell for CBS. B&B made it’s premiere on March 23, 1987 as a sister show to The Young and the Restless and overtime we’ve seen several characters from each of the two shows have crossed over to the other. B&B is set in Los Angeles, California with the show’s centered on the Forrester family and their fashion house business Forrester Creations. There is also the Spencer Family and the Spectras. The program features an ensemble cast, headed by its longest-serving actors; John McCook as Eric Forrester and Katherine Kelly Lang as Brooke Logan Aside from that other former cast members Hunter Tylo [ex-Taylor], Ronn Moss [ex-Ridge] and Susan Flannery [ex-Stephanie] still holds the longest running appearances on the show.
Throughout it’s run B&B has won several awards as Outstanding show and for their actors. Happy 30th anniversary to an outstanding show filled with a talented cast and crew. We look forward to many, many, many more years to come. We asked a number of B&B stars on the show what it’s like/was like to be a part of the show and a part of some super couples, check out their responses below.

Jacob Young [Rick]: For me, being on BB is and always has been a privilege. I love being part of such a diverse and talented cast. Rick is a challenging character, its fun to try and tap into his mindset of a man who as been held back from his dreams. Someone who has been hurt so many times by Ridge and by the women of Ricks past. Jaded to say the least. lol
Ronn Moss [Ridge]: “Original couple Ridge & Brooke, 25 great years as the super couple! I feel very blessed and grateful. 
Sean Kanan [Deacon]: “I truly honored to work on the best network on daytime with some of the most talented people in the business”
Andrea Evans [ex-Tawny]: I totally enjoyed playing Tawny on B&B. Brad Bell created such interesting characters & I really loved the relationship with her daughter Amber. That friendship has carried on to real life as well!!
Lilly Melgar [ex-Claudia Cortez]: I loved my time on The Bold & The Beautiful .. so many friendships I cherish and memorable moments. A time that I reflect upon with a smile on my face 🙂

Aaron D. Spears [Justin Barber]: 30 years of ANYTHING is AMAZING & being number one is flat out INCREDIBLE. In regards to my marriage on B&B, MORE on-screen love would have been ideal. DUSTIN (Justin & Donna) had great chemistry together. It’s never too late to rekindle that spark!
