Greetings Family!
Curtis Ashford “found” Sasha Gilmore and “discovered” she could be Nina Reeves’ long lost daughter. But as we know, it was really Valentin Cassadine behind it. He paid Sasha to play Nina’s faux daughter. Sasha has done pretty well for herself since coming to Port Charles. She has a loving and doting “mom”. She has a plush job at Crimson Magazine. She’s hobnobbing with the elite of Port Charles. Doing pretty well.
Now it hasn’t been all roses for Sasha in Port Charles. She was shaken after bonding with her faux sister, Kiki, and then Kiki was brutally murdered. Sasha wondered if the serial killer roaming around Port Charles (Ryan Chamberlain) would target her next. She got out of town for awhile but she returned. I mean the good life is hard to resist. She has recently nabbed one of Port Charles’ most eligible bachelors, Michael Corinthos. It’s clear Michael is quite smitten with Sasha, who has been able to wriggle Michael in and not have to put a label on whatever it is they are doing. She is living fancy free. Go Sasha!
She’s had a few close calls courtesy of Maxie West who didn’t buy that Sasha was Nina’s daughter. A trip to the nail salon and Maxie nipping a strand of Sasha’s hair for DNA testing purposes, did cause Sasha’s heart rate to accelerate. But Valentin is a Cassadine so he had things well in hand…for now. Nina still believes Sasha is her daughter. So, yep Sasha is still living her best life.
We did get a little chuckle out of Sasha’s expression when she heard, faux momma, Nina detail how she injected a then pregnant Ava Jerome with a drug that caused Ava to go into premature labor and that Nina abducted Avery. Guess Valentin left that tidbit out huh? Yeah, it is something to think about, Sasha. What might happen when Nina finds out what you and Valentin did? But Sasha can deal with all that down the road. For now, Michael is whisking her away to Martha’s Vineyard for a romantic getaway. Nice.
Sasha had two sensational looks this past week. Our favorite was the one she wore at the end of the week, the red keyhole mini Mock-Neck Dress by Guess. That was our Best Dressed Look of the Week. Did you all see those close-up shots of Sofia? Her jaw, cheeks, and eyes; Ms. Mattsson’s close-ups are a photographer’s dream. Stunning.
Sasha we really do like you. We are sending up soap prayers because if Valentina’s wedding is in September, it’s almost time to pay the piper. Good luck. LOL.
