A Long-Overdue Chat
Things are heating up for Andre Richardson (Sean Freeman), who’s finally settling into married life with Dani (Karla Mosley).
What once started as complicated, thanks to his past with Ashley (Jen Jacob) and her new chapter with Derek (Ben Gavin), has now turned into something real.
Andre’s falling in love with his wife, and honestly, it’s about time. But with that comes a big step: facing Anita (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon (Clifton Davis), Dani’s parents, for a long-overdue conversation. They love their daughter, no question, but now that Andre has her heart (and her hand in marriage), it’s time to prove he deserves both.
Meanwhile, Dani’s riding high on excitement. She’s about to make a major comeback—a return to modeling! Well, sort of. Dani’s got a Forrester Creations photo shoot coming up, and she’s in full-on prep mode.
Ted Does His Best and Leslie Gloats
Elsewhere, other parents are in their own worlds. Ted (Keith D. Robinson) is doing his best to reach his daughter, while Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) can’t help but gloat about hers. Kat (Colby Muhammad), however, isn’t exactly thrilled, especially as her dad grows closer to his other daughter. And Leslie? She’s glowing with pride over Eva (Ambyr Michelle).
Derek Leans on Shanice and Naomi Helps Ashley
But not everyone’s feeling the love. Derek is leaning on Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) as he tries to pick up the pieces after Ashley ended their engagement and walked away.
It’s hard to feel too bad for him, though; this one’s on him. Ashley’s reeling from betrayal and rejection: the man she loved lied to keep her, and the one she hoped to reconnect with turned her down. Now, she’s left wondering what’s next—and maybe, just maybe, it’s time for her to finally put herself first. Look for Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) to help her move on.
